Q: I created tabs. And i placed the some control in each tab. I taken the submit button outside the tab . I written java script validation for taking input.Now in this case my focus should go the particular tab and the control.
How to control and refer particular tab in flash tab menu when submit button is exist outside the tab
A: You can use the following function to open appropriate tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuN, itemN);
where
menuN - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
itemN - index of a tab you want to show, <=0.

Q: How do I apply styles to submenu items that are different from the styles of top javascript drop down menu items? For instance, I want to know how to apply background images for the submenus, but not for the menu items. I also want borders around the submenu ITEMS, not just the entire submenu. Assign Individual Items style to all submenu items and Individual Submenu Style for the first item in each submenu.Q: I am using your Ajax menu and am generally delighted with it. Its ability to load sub menus on the fly is just what I have been looking for.
However, I have noticed in IE7 that it can leave sub menus displayed when you have moused off that particular ajax drop down menu. Can this be fixed?
Also, can you get the menu to disappear when you mouse off the menu, rather than having to hover over another menu or click the page off the menu.
A: See, now you've set the following parameter:
var smHidePause=-1;
It means that your submenus won't be hidden till you click or scroll your page.
If you want to hide your submenus on mouse out you should set another value, for example:
var smHidePause=1000;
or
var smHidePause=500;Q: I've now begun to offer my clients multiple levels offunctionality. Is there any way to add another level of complexity to the php drop down menu? Would AJAX Menus be the best approach for doing this?
A: You can do it in three ways now.
1) You can use API functions to generate items dynamically:
function dm_ext_createSubmenu (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)

2) Use AJAX feature and create different .js files depend on company and user level.
3) Generate your menu items dynamically from database.
Unfortunately we don't have working example with ASP.
You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,
you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:
