Q: Why do I get the "Incorrect Copyright" message in Internet Explorer 7. I am using JavaScript Tree Menu version 1.14. Shouldn't this support IE5+, including IE7?

Q: I'm testing the trial version and I'm having a little problem with the state saving. Everytime it navigates to another page, it does not save the state, even with

  var tsaveState=1;

In fact, it actually opens up a different menu other than the one I originally clicked.


A: See, if you open pages (with menus) from different folder it means that you open different menus. So, when you change a state, for example, of the first menu within "newzap/" folder and then open another page with the menu within "newzap/learn/", browsers looks for another cookie file and can't find it and the second menu stays in a default state.

Try to set different

  var tsavePrefix="menu1";
  var tsavePrefix="menu2";
  var tsavePrefix="menu3";

for different menus.
That should work.

Q: I am using your Ajax menu and am generally delighted with it. Its ability to load sub menus on the fly is just what I have been looking for.

However, I have noticed in IE7 that it can leave sub menus displayed when you have moused off that particular ajax drop down menu. Can this be fixed?

Also, can you get the menu to disappear when you mouse off the menu, rather than having to hover over another menu or click the page off the menu.

A: See, now you've set the following parameter:
  var smHidePause=-1;

It means that your submenus won't be hidden till you click or scroll your page.

If you want to hide your submenus on mouse out you should set another value, for example:

  var smHidePause=1000;
or
  var smHidePause=500;

Q: I'm about to create a transparent menu as you can see on the attached photo. I can't find any samples on how to place the cascading navigation bar on an image with 100% opacity. Is it possible...?

A: To create a transparent menu you should set transparent value for the following parameters:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];
