Q: I am trying to implement JavaScript Tree Menu 2.0 on a .aspx-page.

However the Norwegian characters are not showed correctly. (only in the menu)

What do I need to do?

It works fine with the old version of JavaScript Tree Menu in our normal asp-pages.


A: When you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

or

<SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="ISO-8859-1"> </SCRIPT>

Try that.

Q: I have spanish characters that are not showing up in my menus correctly.
My array has this:

 ["|M&eacute;xico","#", "", "", , , "7", , ],
buy in the drop downs it appears as M?xico

I read in the FAQ about displaying Norwegian characters

I have the charset on the page set properly and the letters appear properly everyone else, only incorrect in the menus.

A: You should write your Spanish characters in the following way:

Q: Is there a way to increase the time the hint of drop down menu dynamic stays on the screen?

A: No this is standard hint, there is no way to increase the time it stayson the screen.

Q: I already found out the use of the pressedItem setting. However Iwas looking to be able to have a submenu in the html dropdown menu already expanded on pageload. Can you tell me if this is possible yet in any way ?
