Q: How do I make the top nav buttons exactly the same width for each button?

Total menu width is 743px and I have 6 buttons I want the width of each button to be fixed at 123px.

I set   var menuWidth="743" but it averages out the buttons based on the text.


A: You should use individual item styles. For example:

  var itemStyles = [
["itemWidth=123px"], //style 0

  var menuItems = [

Q: Obviously your menus are NOT cross browser usable, as you can e.g. Padding does not work in opera, while it works in IE.
When will there be an update on that bug?


A: JavaScript Tree Menu works fine in all browsers.
Try to set exact width for the menu width and menu height, try also to specify unitsin "px":
  var menuWidth="500px";
  var menuHeight="20px";
  var smWidth="116px";
You should also check your padding parameter, you should write it so:
  var itemPadding="1px 1px 1px 12px";

Q: Do you have a version where the javascript expand menu does not disappear when someone clicks on it?


A: If you set the value <-1 of smHidePause parameter
your submenus won't be hidden at all, untill you reload your page.
