Javascript Tree Menu. Expandable Menu.

  • You can set default expanded/collapsed items and submenus.
  • After clicking on menu item selected item becomes highlighted.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: .How can I open frameless pop up window upon the page loading?

A: To open the popup window upon the page loading you should set thefollowing parameter:

openAfter=0
deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,'openAfter=0,,,,,')

A: Check that parameter:

  var texpanded = 0;

It expands all items by default.


Q: Obviously your menus are NOT cross browser usable, as you can e.g. Padding does not work in opera, while it works in IE.
When will there be an update on that bug?


A: JavaScript Tree Menu works fine in all browsers.
Try to set exact width for the menu width and menu height, try also to specify unitsin "px":

  var smWidth="116px";
You should also check your padding parameter, you should write it so:
  var itemPadding="1px 1px 1px 12px";
