Q: Could I create a function that displays thetab that the user clicked in the left tab menu.
These tabs are all within the same window, sothe page will always be the same.
Just need a function to make differenttabs appear.
A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.
You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.
For example:

A: JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the drop down navigation menuinto your html page:
1. create and save .js file with your menu parameters in Deluxe Tuner
2. open the page in Frontpage
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:

You should copy all engine files and images for the drop down navigation menu in "deluxe-menu.files/" folder and paste it in the same folder with you .html files.

dmenu_add.js
dmenu_dyn.js
dmenu_key.js
dmenu_cf.js
dmenu_popup.js
dmenu_ajax.js
dmenu_search.js
That's all.
It is possible that you'll have errors in the preview but your drop down navigation menushould work fine in the browser.

A: To enable AJAX Tree Menu use the following menu parameters:
var tajax=1; // enables AJAX technology support
Each .js file must contain menuItems variable for the submenu in the following format:
var tmenuItems = [
[text, link, icon1, icon2, icon2, tip, target, itemStyle, submenuStyle, jsFileName],
];
Where jsFileName - .js filename on the server that contains tmenuItems variable for the submenu.

A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
var bmenuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
var bmenuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];
