Q: I’m interested in buying your products.
I have no experience in programming, only know html/php.
How easy would it be to set up these mouseover menus?
I understand your explanation of copying scripts into the relevant html pages.
But what about inserting the menus? Do I have to program them myself?
A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial now. We'll try tocreate it in the nearest time.
1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner application.
You can create any menu as you like in Deluxe Tuner.
You can use ready to use templates. You can find them in the templateswindow.
When you open Deluxe Tuner ( JavaScript Tree Menu ) you can click "File/New"
and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

You can also use Individual Styles for items and subitems:

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML (you can't do it inthe MAC version).
Add several rows into your html page.

You should also copy all engine files:

dmenu_add.js
dmenu_dyn.js

into "deluxe-menu.files/" folder.
You should place this folder in thesame folder with your index. html page.
Try that.Q: We are actually very happy with the product compared to the other options available. The code is cleaner and it is easy to use. We would actually like to continue to use your product but our client uses firefox most of the time and if the javascript onmouseover menu won't go over the java applet it isn't going to work. You mention that you will try to fixthe issue. If you can give me a date to when it would be fixed by, I can try to convince our client to wait.

Q: Would it work to put the javascript command in the dhtml context menu Link entry so that when a person clicks on the menu item, he navigates to the webpage specified in the onclick?
A: Actually you can use your own Javascript code instead standard links and html code inside item text. For example:

Q: How can I have the sub tab option that initiated the action highlighted once the new page is reloaded? I want to highlight the tab which is done with 'bselectedItem', please tell me about the sub-tab option.
A: See you cannot create subitems in
var tabMode=0;
it is not correct.
You should set
var tabMode=1;
The following parameters set the pressed items for top items andsubitems:
var bselectedItem=0; //top items
var bselectedSmItem=2; //subitems
where 0,1,2... is the index of the item in bmenuItems.
- delete var bselectedItem=1; and var bselectedSmItem=2; parameters from your data file
- set correct parameters on each page before you call data file, forexample:
