Q: I am having problems with my html files that are located in sub folders of my site the menu html does not work on them.If they are in the root directory there is no problem.

A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.

For example:
  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: We would need to programatically open a particular tab in the horizontal tab menu.

A: Unfortunately Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions now.

You can use the following function to open specific tab:
dtabs_itemClick(menuInd,itemInd);
where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
itemInd - index of a item, >=0.

For example:

<DIV onClick="dtabs_itemClick(0,2)" style="width: 200px; border: 2px solid #000;">
Click to open the third tab
</DIV>

Q: Everything will go fine during setup, until I get further into it, I will get an error. It says error on a line of text that isnt even there. The line of text does not exists. Please let me know how I can correct this issue and get the program running right.

A: See, it is not correct to write " symbols within menuItems:

   ["||A23 (3" DIAM)","http://www.interlight.biz/products.int?Category=INCANDESCENT&Subcat=A+SHAPE&Dept=A23+%283%22+DIAM%29",

Try to write your last items in the following way:
   ["||A15 (2&quot; DIAM)","http://www.interlight.biz/products.int?Category=INCANDESCENT&Subcat=A+SHAPE&Dept=A15+%282%22+DIAM%29", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
   ["||A19 (2.5&quot; DIAM)","http://www.interlight.biz/products.int?Category=INCANDESCENT&Subcat=A+SHAPE&Dept=A19+%282%2E5%22+DIAMETER%29", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
   ["||A21 (2.6&quot; DIAM)","http://www.interlight.biz/products.int?Category=INCANDESCENT&Subcat=A+SHAPE&Dept=A21+%282%2E6%22+DIAM%29", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
   ["||A23 (3&quot; DIAM)","http://www.interlight.biz/products.int?Category=INCANDESCENT&Subcat=A+SHAPE&Dept=A23+%283%22+DIAM%29", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],

Q: If you take a look at the upper menu, I have "|" separating all of the various menu items. How can I do this with JavaScript Tree Menu?
I don't want to resort to using messages and would like to use the "|" character if at all possible.

A: You can paste a separator.
Please, see the following parameters:

//------- Separators -------
//--- Separators
  var separatorImage="";
  var separatorWidth="5";
  var separatorHeight="100%";
  var separatorAlignment="right";
  var separatorVImage="images/public/separator.gif";
  var separatorVWidth="3";
  var separatorVHeight="100%";
  var separatorPadding="";

You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

  var menuItems = [
["Home","index.cfm", , , , , , , , ],
["-"],
["About Us","about.cfm", , , , , , , , ],

];
