Q: Is there a tutorial on how to use css navigation bar
A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.
1. Create your Css menu in Deluxe Tuner.
When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File->Save Css Menu/Export HTML
So, you'll have folder with images ("deluxe-css-menu.files/" folder by default),deluxe-css-menu.html file and deluxe-css-menu.js file with all menu parameters (project file you need, if you wantto modify your menu later).
Open deluxe-css-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows ofcode into your page (for example index.html page of your website).
Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).

Q: My top levels over the menu have no link and as such I need the cursor not to change when hovering over it – only change over the menus that drop down.
Please let me know how to fix this
A: Unfortunately, you can't change cursor type for different items.
But you can write so:

In all items with links you should use < a> tag.
Set this parameter:

Q: It works almost ok BUT without the use of Deluxe Tuner. It seems NOT to be able to provide such results for the creation of popups when a link is clicked (not when a page is loaded). On top of that, what am I supposed to enter in the actions tab in the popup generator?
And what is more, when I click on the 1st link I get a fine sample but when I click on the 2nd one, background colour of the 1st link appears for a about second. How do I get rid of that?

For example you want to open a popup onMouseover, onClick oronMouseout on a link.
So, you should create a link on your page and set id="" for it, forexample:

<a href="javascript:;" id="over">Open popup OnMouseover</a>
<a href="javascript:;" id="out">Open popup OnMouseOut</a>
In Deluxe Tuner you should set:
onMouseOver - over
onMouseOut - out
onClick - link
So you'll have
deluxePopupWindow.attachToEvent(win,',,onClick=link,onMouseOver=over,onMouseOut=out,')

You have such effect because you use fade-effect for your popupwindows.Q: I used the drop menu creator to create a simple tab example, and I created a simple HTML file to display the tabs. It initially appears fine when the page first displays (e.g., the correct div is hidden), but when I *first* click on a tab I always get a javascript error deep in the .js code. Then I click around a bit between the tabs and get some display problems (no more javascript errors though), until finally the show/hide logic recovers and all looks ok.
The error I initially get is something like “tabs[…].id is not an object”. I have the IE7 debugger turned on, otherwise I might not ever see this error.
FYI, I tried your example menus on your web site and everything is fine! Maybe the .js files on your web site are not the same as those created by the generator?
