Q: Hello, I am trying to figure out how to use the Dynamic functionality in the java menu codes. I believe I want to use something like the dm_ext_changeItemVisibility function, and I want it to be dependent on HTML wrapped around the menu item.
Below is functionally how I want it to work:
Show menu item 1
Show menu item 2
<if condition="!is_member_of($bbuserinfo,10)">
Show menu item 3
</if>
Show menu item 4
Is there an example you can share that does something like this? I searched the site and could not find an answer.

Disable "Product Info/Installation" item.
and
Hide / show "Samples" item.
You can call these function via javascript depending on your conditions.
Q: We'd tried the useIFrame = 1 as well and the issue is fixed but the IE6 shows a "non secure objects over a secure connection" message, it worries me because on one side the problem is solved but on the other hand it generates confusion.
As an alternative we're planning to use the Deluxe navigation tree in order to avoid these overlapping problems, but it doesn't show up in IE7 over W2K3 R2!!
We requiere your support to use either the Javascript/DHTML Tree or the JavaScript Tree Menu,

A: Deluxe navigation tree works fine in IE7.
Try to set width and height parameters:

var tmenuHeight="auto";Q: I have used Deluxe tuner menu on a web page and facing two small problems
a) The separator I have used do not show up. This is supposed to be a black horizontal line below every menu item. The image name is sep.jpg
b) The submenu appears on the right and I am unable to figure out a way to get the submenu to appear on the left. My navigation is placed on the right panel so if the sub menu appears on right of drop down menu bar, it practically goes off the page.
Can you please help with this and let me know why this is happening ?
A: 1) You should set separators between main items:

And set:

2) You should set the following parameter:
var smViewType=2;
Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.
I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.
See the attached example. Search works fine.
You can also specify styles for the search box:
