Q: When I load a page with dhtml menu sample, lets say contact, the first tab is always highlighted, not the contact tab
A: I suppose that you've set the following parameter:
var bselectedItem=1;
So, the first tab is always highlighted.
This Tab menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only. If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem. You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters( var bselectedItem, var bselectedSmItem) or using any server-sidescript (php, asp, etc.)
You should delete this parameter from your data file and write thefollowing code on each page before you call your data file, for example:
<script language="JavaScript1.2>
var bselectedItem = 3;
</script>
Q: We are implementing your licensed drop down menu in dhtml on our new site and it does not appear to work in Firefox.
A: Now you have:
var transparency="";
it is not correct.
You should set, for example:
var transparency="100";
Try also to set:
var itemPadding="0px 15px 0px 15px";
Q: Is it possible to change the background color of just one of the menu buttons within a javascript expand menu?

A: JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/Microsoft Expression Web extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:
1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
