You can set default expanded/collapsed items and submenus.
After clicking on menu item selected item becomes highlighted.
When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! You can also specify height and width for each separate submenu.
There is no need to write additional code on a server side to remember what items were expanded/collapsed. Javascript/DHTML Tree can save items state automatically!

Q: I've been using your application for about 2 years but have never been able to insert a vertical divider in dhtml menu source.

A: You should set a separator in the menuItems, for example:

Q: Could you tell me if this drop down menus javascript work with Japanese fonts?

A: If you are using a Japanese system then everything should render correctly.
If you are using an English system with a Japanese IME then you willneed to set the font in the Tuner to one that supports the characters you require.

Q: I need the links for the side navigation bar to be vertical
and the pop up to come up on the right, rather than the bottom.
