Q: I am evaluating various menu systems and need to know if your supports key navigation, like alt-F to select a menu?
A: JavaScript Tree Menu has keystrokes support.
Use the following parameter to enable keystrokes support:
var keystrokes = 1;
0 - disabled (default), 1 - enabled.
Ctrl+F2 - enter the menu/switch to next menu on the page.
Arrow keys - navigate.
Enter - enter the menu.
Esc - exit the menu.
Use also the following parameters:
var dm_focus = 1; Show focus selection for selected item.
var dm_actKey = 113; Key code for keystrokes activation.
Works with Ctrl key only.
Default value is 113 = F2 key, 114 = F3 key, 115 = F4 key, etc.

Q: I have been playing around with the demo version 2.4 of deluxe tabs, and have a couple of questions & comments:
Deluxe Tabs appears to not work at all on Windows Vista machines running Internet Explorer. This includes for example that the content in the dhtml tabs simply does not appear. Is there a fix for this?
Just want to make sure I can resolve these issues before making a purchase.
A: Try to use the latest version of Deluxe Tabs v3.2.9.
Try to delete height: 0%; parameter from the styles:

The main menus and sub menus work fine in IE but in Firefox the sub menus do not appear at all. Is their a fix for this. I realize that firefox does not support IE transitions but Ithought the sub menus would appear when the main item is clicked on. that hs not happened. Go to above URL and vie in both IE and Firefox and you will see what I mean.

Q: I am now running the newest version, all ok. A new client wants to have submenus openFor the left hand menu navigation that I purchased, can I choose what dhtml tree menus will be expanded or collapsed when the user first comes to the webpage for the first time?
For instance, right now, when the user first goes to the page ALL of the menus are collapsed. If I wanted the first and third tree menus to be expanded and the others to stay collapsed when a new user first went to the page, how would I accomplish that?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

Use var texpanded=1; parameter to expand all menu items by default.
Use function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand) API function to expand the specificmenu items dynamically:
