Q: I downloaded the trial versionto try and it seems like it should do the horizontal sub menus, but not sure what parameter controls it. Can you help?? The effect I am looking for is this:

Q: Typically in order to generate a menu with multiple layers I’d put a pipe character in front of the menu text.. For example:

However, when I try to do it with dm_ext_addItem it actually SHOWS the pipe character and doesn’t create any menu levels at all.

A: No, unfortunately it is not possible to rebuild the menu withoutreloading of the page now. We'll add this feature in the next versionof the menu.

Javascript/DHTML Tree is a search engine friendly menu since v2.4.
To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:
<div id="dmlinks">
<a href="menu_link1">menu_item_text1</a>
<a href="menu_link2">menu_item_text2</a>
...etc.
</div>
To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.
You can find this GUI in the trial package.
Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3).
