Q: I'm trying to set the frame parameters to frame name body. I have tried seven different text items: body, _body, frame name=body, framename=body, "framename=body", the relative URL, and the exact URL in the titemTarget parameter (common parameters). Nothing seems to work. It always sets the target to a new window. What text do I need to enter for the default parameter to be the body frame target?
Also, is there a way to expand only the menus and not the submenus? There doesn't seem to be a halfway point. Either all the menus are open, or all closed. If I set the default to hidden, it is non-functional. If I set it to expanded, that's not what I'm looking for either.
The menu looks good; other than these two problems it is functioning properly.

You want to expand only the main items when you load your page?
If it is so you can set expanded items by default.
If you want to expand specific items by default you should set "+"symbol at the beginning of item text.

Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.
Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?
A: Javascript/DHTML Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:
var tsaveState=1;
Q: We are showing the "incorrect copyright" on our menu for some reason and I need you to look at the code. It's been this way for about a month. My company is going to make me stop using your menu if I can't get the issue corrected so please help me determine why we are suddenly having this problem.
The notice shows up on IE 6, but not IE 7.
A: "Incorrect Copyright" means that the script can't find required copyright parameters.
To avoid this, please, change:

Q: Hi there ... a while ago I had asked you what I need to change to prevent exit pops from being activated, but I don't think it's working.
For example, a regular link that I want:

How do I do it with dhtml vertical menu?
Before, in the "text" box in the "Item Parameters" window, you had me do the following:

But that doesn't seem to work. Any other suggestions? Thanks very much.
A: I suppose that you should move menuItems from the data file to yourhtml page directly (where you define exit variable).
