A: Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
Q: Now it works fine in Firefox and mostly in IE.... Only problem... In IE...
When the page with dhtml tab menu first loads ... It does not load the content of the first DIV....
It's fine in Firefox...now IE just does not load the first div... I've tried added a JS function to set to visible the first DIV onLoad...but that does not work either...
Is there anyway to hard-code in ...to set the first DIV to visible?
A: I've just checked your website. Your dhtml tab menu work correctly.
You should check that you use correct value of
var bselectedItem=1;
parameter.
That is mean that second item in menuItems array will be highlighted.

Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.
The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?
A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Q: How can I make the submenus appear much more quickly for the javascript expand menu?They appear but only after mouseing-over the menu and waiting for approximately one second.
A: Try to adjust the following parameters:
var dm_writeAll=0;
var smShowPause=100;
var smHidePause=1000;
var transDuration=150;
var transDuration2=200;
You can also turn off transitional effects
var transition=-1;
