Q: I have a question:

The smHidePause = 1500

If hide is busy (during 1500), and I click somewhere else on the screen (empty place), I want the submenu to hide.

Can I make this happen?


A: Yes, you can do it.
You should use the following function to hide your submenus:

_dmsm(0);
where 0 - is index of the menu on a page >0.


Q: Is it possible to use this easy drop down menu as a static HTML form element so it does not behave like a link but its value is posted with other form elements on submit?

A: You are able to paste any html code within items.
So you can paste a form too.

For example:

Q: Is your dhtml menu software compatable with xsite pro?


A: JavaScript Tree Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:

Q: Whenver I choose the enable Ajax feature and set the AjaxCount to 0, my menus don't pop out anymore. How do I get it to pop out?


A: That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.

If you don't know exact number of submenus you can set a big value forthis parameter.

If you set   var dmAJAXCount=0; you cannot see you submenus.

To enable Ajax feature you should set, for example:
  var dmAJAX=1;
  var dmAJAXCount=100;
